All you need to know about COP28

What is COP 28?

COP 28, the conference on climate change taking place in Dubai, is the 28th summit of the conference of parties that was initiated in March 1995.It is international agreement of countries where all the countries take ambitions for better climate and reduce the greenhouse gases,Also some fund is provided to developing countries to help them to cope with the changing climate and reducing the usage and production of those substances that are causing rising temperature.

What is climate change?

Basically, climate change is sometimes confused with global warming so let us see what is climate change and what is global warming.

Climate change

Climate change is the overall increase in the earth's temperature that is increasing day by day. And it is caused because of human activities that had started after industrial revolution and it is feared that by 2030 the global rise of temperature will be from 1.5° to 2°C.

Global warming

Global warming is taking place due to increased concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. now we all know that are some Atmospheric gases that played their part to maintain the earth temperature so that it can support life.

COP 28 is is a conference of countries which is held under the framework of United Nations framework of convention on climate change UNFCCC.

This is the 28th meeting of the conference taking place in the way from November 30 to December 12. The last COP meeting took place in Egypt.

Does motivational videos really cause motivation?🤔

This is the question that may be perplexing some of us, sometimes. The bad news is they don’t.

 You may think that I might have lost it completely that's why I am saying this and what are all these motivational speakers doing out there. You can think whatever you want but the second bad news is that, it is still true. 

How can you turn this bad news into a good news. Let me tell you.

 What is motivation?

Motivation is actually sense to do something great, to achieve our goal,  fulfill our dream, to feel good.

But, how many times you got up and started working at the urge of motivation.

 Let's get it straight. Motivation is just a game of hormones. There is this hormone testosterone and when it combines with other chemicals  in the body, it releases endorphins that makes you feel good, happy and motivated. Have you ever noticed that your motivation is short lived  and lasts only few days, no matter how many motivational videos you are watching or quotes you are reading.

The actual reality is that motivation can drive you to start a work,  but it is not that fuel, that you require in your long journey.

Wondering what is the that fuel? 

Your habit…….

Yes, your habit is the main factor that is going to get you somewhere in your life.

Motivation will put you out from your bed, habit will get it done.

Even if you are not liking to do it; make it your habit, YOU WILL DO IT.

Not every time motivation will be there, but your habit will make you pass through.

Is there anyone to question the brutalities of Israel on Palestinians?

Israel has caused havoc on the land of Gaza for the past 55 days. And there is no one to ask it or to stop it from its inhumane behaviour. It has turned a habituated city into a graveyard. By killing thousands of people among which most of them are children, it is trying to greenwash city the Gaza city.  

the strike which it asserts to have launched to remove last man of Hamas is actually the genocide of Palestinian people. This is the effort of Israel to remove them from the land and making it a part of Israel.

It is no more a conflict between two countries but it has turned into a war, resulting in brutal killing of innocents by mightier one with nuclear and advanced weapons.

Why the world is silent? Why the world leaders are silent? Why these so called

Humanitarian Organizations, Unions, NGOS and Corporations are silent?

Israel's atrocities are continue on Palestinian people since 1948, why there could

never havE been a solution to it.

What can one expect of Muslim leaders who are either among the abet or the onlookers. Not a single Muslim country or leader has been able to cut ties with Israel.

Leaders other than Muslims, of course they are the supporters of Israel behind the curtain. In COP 28, was it suitable to invite a barbarous leader, or it is sound to believe his so-called 'save the climate' speech. It seems like normalizing violence.

 The devastation that Israel has caused in Gaza, the harm it has caused

to ecosystem and environment, it will take years and maybe even decades

to rebuilt, recover and to return to life, but it will be hardest to forget,

if ever the war stops!

Henry Kissinger, 100, born May 27, 1923,  kicked the bucket on 29 November, 2023.

Henry Kissinger was a German-born American  diplomat, political scientist, and geopolitical consultant who played a key role in shaping U.S. foreign policy during the late 20th century.

Born German, but died American, Kissinger left Germany in 1930s with family.

Kissinger served as the National Security Advisor, the Secretary of State under Presidents Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford.

 He played a central role in the diplomatic efforts related to the Vietnam War, including the negotiations that led to the Paris Peace Accords in 1973. Additionally, Kissinger was a key figure in the normalization of relations between the United States and the People's Republic of China.

In 1973, Henry Kissinger, along with Le Duc Tho, was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to negotiate a ceasefire and withdrawal of U.S. troops from Vietnam. However, the award was controversial, as the Vietnam War was ongoing when the prize was announced.

Kissinger's approach to diplomacy has been both praised and criticized. While some applaud his realpolitik strategy and geopolitical acumen, others have raised concerns about the ethical implications of his policies, particularly in relation to human rights issues in countries such as Chile and East Timor.

After leaving government service, Kissinger continued to be active in international affairs, serving as a consultant and authoring several books on diplomacy and global politics. He remains a significant figure in discussions about U.S. foreign policy and international relations.
