Role of Women in Nation Building

Women have a significant, unsaid, unpraised and immense role in nation building. They play and can play role equal to men in nation building. Infact, women can play far more better role than men in society because they are more resilient than them.  reports show that the ratio of men and women is almost same. For every 102 man there are 49 women. So how can we assume that without the participation of half of the population of the world, the world can progress. Women play very important role in every aspect of life. In many developed and progressed countries, women are already at very important posts playing an effective role in nation building. In short, if women are given opportunity, they will prove very helpful in country's progress.

In Pakistan, the role of women is very less evident. People have now came out of the typical thought of women as wife holding house, taking care of kids and bearing the atrocities of her husband, but still there is a lot to do. The global gender report has shown that pakistan stands at 145/146 in gender inequalities and every 1 in 3rd women is subjected to violence. But, only bad part cannot be depicted, a lot has changed too. Now, women are taking part in every walk of life. Many women own their self supported business either at small or large level. Women not only take part in nation building but also rear their children and take care of their children. In conclusion. we can say that if women are provided with suitable, favourable condition, secure working environment and confidence, they will not only prove helpful in nation building but also the overall perspective can change.
