A senior Iranian official confirmed the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi after the debris of the concerned helicopter was found in the mountains. The helicopter carrying 9 persons in total went missing yesterday. The rescue teams have been searching them nonstop in the eastern province of Azerbaijan. It was hoped that the Iranian president and their government official foreign minister and other passengers would have been safe. The deceased persons met this deadly accident when they were returning from a trip that they made to Azerbaijan. The Iranian president inaugurated a dam in the visiting country. It is sad that Islamic world lost such a keen, brave, and intelligent leader. The leaders of Islamic and Western countries have presented their condolences for the martyred president and their mates. 
Pakistan has offered its deep condolences to the Iranian nation on the loss of their exceptional leader. It has also announced a one-day sorrow observance across the country in the remembrance of the deceased Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi. The late president visited Pakistan last month. During the three-day visit, the Iranian president and Pakistan's prime minister had vowed to make their friendship stronger by forgetting previous. The officials of both countries have also signed many contracts, including the trade agreement. which urged them to increase their trade to a marking number. Pakistan and Iran have been best friends for decades.
Following the unexpected passing of Ebrahim Raisi, the Iranian supreme leader has selected Muhammad Mukhbar to assume the role of head of the state. Ebrahim Raisi was the eighth president of the country. He took office on 3 August 2021. The late leader was a strong advocate for the Palestinian cause and its marginalized population.
