The full ceremony will last approximately three and a half hours and will include several performances as well as the Parade of Nations, which will take place outside the stadium for the first time. Instead, each country's Olympic team will be announced as they row a boat down the River Seine on a 6km route starting from the Austerlitz Bridge to the Trocadero.
Who will perform at the opening of the 2024 Olympics?

Marina Viotti and Gojira - opera singer Viotti and metal band Gojira perform an unusual duet on an unknown song.
Philippe Katerine and Cerrone - the artist and disco drummer perform a duet on Cerrone's "Supernatural".

Lebron James and Coco Gauff - Tribute: This pair of athletes are official ticket holders for Team USA and will appear at the team announcement.
